As someone who has been in the fitness industry for almost 15 years and has gotten to work with and take classes from hundreds of the industry’s top fitness instructors, Kristen is TOP NOTCH. Not only is she incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, but also, she embodies what makes an instructor truly exceptional: patience, flexibility, motivation, creativity, fun, and engagement.

In a group fitness class, it is imperative to teach to the variety of fitness levels that are present, so that everyone feels included and challenged. Kristen teaches Zumba *to* everyone and *for* everyone, and she does so in a way that draws you into the class and keeps you coming back for more each and every week. Group fitness is a powerful space in that it invites people to exercise who don’t feel comfortable anywhere else, and Kristen is a master of her craft, leading people to get healthier and improve their lives through the power of movement.

I started with Kristen’s Zumba class at the Pooler YMCA early 2024, and it has been such an enjoyable experience, and I can say honestly say its one of my favorite workouts of the week that I look forward too, I start with a smile and always end it with a smile, Kristen is such an amazing instructor, always enthusiastic, fun, and motivating, her playlist is crazy good just for the record. She will make you feel inclusive and part of her classes no matter if you have done Zumba or not, she modifies the steps as per your comfort to catch up on. She builds up a super fun and positive environment around you! If you are looking for a fun and effective way to get fit and introduce an amazing workout in your routine, her class is one of the best there is!! Thank you Kirsten for all that you do! I joined Kristen’s Zumba class at West Chatham YMCA a year ago, with skepticism, that I would not be able to keep up, being that I am a senior citizen.  Based on Kristen’s instructions to modify if necessary, I find her class exciting, fun, a great cardio workout and the music selection is great.  Kristen’s class is wonderful for all ages!

Moved here from NY looking for a good and energetic Zumba instructor, I found Kristen and after trying a few instructors I was hooked!  She was nominated and WON as best Zumba instructor in Savannah. Try one of her classes – guaranteed you’ll be hooked.

Kristen’s classes attract people of all fitness levels and abilities. The regulars are always welcoming and friendly, and before I knew it, I was one of the regulars welcoming the newcomers. If you are thinking of trying Zumba give Kristen’s class a try I think you will enjoy it. Good community.
